the setting was perfect and exceptionally nice, just off pubs, restaurants, cafes and lovely walks. the hotel was within a close distance from Newmiller Dam Tranquil Lake. 3. the breakfast was very very good with dessert. 4. Very amiable staff.

The staff were efficient, pleasant. The location was decent for walking around Newmillerdam Country Park. It was located in a very very nice area next to Newmiller Dam, beautiful surroundings of the village of Newmillerdam and pubs.

It has a nice bar and pleasant and welcoming staff;))

The breakfast had a great selection of delicious food. the staff were incredibly friendly. the hotel's location was perfect, situated in a lovely area near a beautiful river and the charming village of Newmillerdam.

Good room, good breakfast, reasonably priced drinks etc.Plenty of parking spaces.

Bar a little small, could have done with one in the Monet room as well because Wedding function on as well as the 6oth birthday party we were attending!

Staff is decent and you can park your car on-site. Make sure you stay in the double room with spa bath.

the hotel's location is fantastic, right next to attractions like the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Newmillerdam Country Park. the room was spacious and had a nice spa bath. 3. the Lakeside Cafe, located just 1 km away, was a pleasant surprise.

The room was well appionted very quiet. the dining room and service was good.

It was hard to locate, again there was no street number or cross street given and it is on a very long road. The attic room that I was in had a very low sloping ceiling and beam, I struck my head on it several times.Otherwise no major complaint.

Very convenient out-of-city location for visiting a number of places of interest - i.e. Sculpture park, Haywardf Wakefield, Nostell priory etc. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lift didn't go to the 3rd floor. The two rooms we were in - 405 and 407 - were too hot and the window in 405, tucked behind the heavy drape, was too small to let in cool air. Both also had sloping ceilings, and I cracked my head several times in 405

Located in a charming building in a great spot, right in the heart of the action! 🌟 Plus, it’s just a short distance from cool places like the local golf club.

We only came up north to pick up a new car so really did not do much else. For the overnight DBB the hotel was first class and very good value

The staff where really friendly and it was in a good location.

We found the room very basic and bed was abit lumpy.

Booked a room with a large spa bath that had a shower.

Good points :- The hotel was located close to Newmillerdam Lovely Italian restaurant in the village hotel clean and tidy

Bad points:- no hot water for a shower we could not have a shower before bed as the hot water did not work, we assumed it was because it was late evening. However we tried again in the morning before breakfast and still not hot water. We got dressed and went to reception to complain. Whilst sitting having breakfast we were asked if we wanted another room, there was not much point as we were already dressed and needed to leave straight after breakfast. No discount was offered, however in my opinion this should have been done as a matter of courtesy

The staff were friendly and the hotel was comfortable.
